Ella guard\u00f3 un secreto durante casi 50 a\u00f1os, as\u00ed lo dicen sus cartas personales, publicadas p\u00f3stumamente en el libro \u201cVen, s\u00e9 mi luz\u201d, estas revelaron que durante la mayor parte de su ministerio vivi\u00f3 en oscuridad espiritual intensa\u00a0 sinti\u00e9ndose alejada de Dios, sin sentir Su presencia, llena de dudas. Y sin embargo sigui\u00f3 sirviendo. Sigui\u00f3 orando. Sigui\u00f3 amando.<\/p><p>La duda no es lo opuesto de la fe, es parte del camino de la fe.<\/p><p>El hombre de Marcos 9 lo resume perfectamente en una frase que es quiz\u00e1s la m\u00e1s honesta de toda la Biblia: \u00abCreo; ayuda mi incredulidad.\u00bb No fingi\u00f3 la certeza que no ten\u00eda, no huy\u00f3 avergonzado, El llev\u00f3 su duda directamente a Jes\u00fas, y Jes\u00fas respondi\u00f3.<\/p><p>Hay dos tipos de duda: la que te aleja de Dios y la que te acerca.<\/p><ul><li>La primera usa la incertidumbre como excusa para dejar de buscar.<\/li><li>La segunda convierte la incertidumbre en una pregunta honesta dirigida al cielo.<\/li><\/ul><p>La duda honesta, llevada a Dios en oraci\u00f3n y a la Palabra con hambre, casi siempre produce una fe m\u00e1s profunda que la que exist\u00eda antes.<\/p><p>Si hoy tienes dudas, no las entierres ll\u00e9valas pues la fe que nunca ha sido cuestionada es una Fe fr\u00e1gil. La fe que ha pasado por el fuego de la pregunta y ha sobrevivido es irrompible y Jes\u00fas no rechaz\u00f3 al padre dudoso, le san\u00f3 al hijo. Y puede hacer lo mismo con tu alma hoy.<\/p><p>\u00abLa duda honesta llevada a Dios no es el fin de la fe, es el inicio de una fe m\u00e1s profunda y real.\u00bb<\/p><p>Oremos: Dios , hoy te traigo mis dudas no como excusas, sino como oraci\u00f3n. \u00abCreo; ayuda mi incredulidad.\u00bb No finjo tener todas las respuestas, pero decido buscarte a Ti que eres la Respuesta. Am\u00e9n.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Life in the Word<\/p><p>Devotional 36 \u2014 Doubt<\/p><p>Thursday, May 28, 2026<\/p><p>\u00abImmediately the boy\u2019s father cried out and said, \u2018I believe; help my unbelief!\u2019\u00bb \u2014 Mark 9:24<\/p><p>Mother Teresa of Calcutta, an Albanian nun who dedicated decades to serving the dying in Calcutta and who was canonized by the Catholic Church in 2016, kept a secret for nearly 50 years. According to her personal letters, published posthumously in the book Come, Be My Light, she lived through most of her ministry in intense spiritual darkness\u2014feeling distant from God, without sensing His presence, full of doubts. And yet she continued serving. She continued praying. She continued loving.<\/p><p>Doubt is not the opposite of faith\u2014it is part of the journey of faith.<\/p><p>The man in Mark 9 sums it up perfectly in a phrase that is perhaps one of the most honest in the entire Bible: \u201cI believe; help my unbelief.\u201d He did not pretend to have certainty he lacked, nor did he run away in shame. He brought his doubt directly to Jesus\u2014and Jesus responded.<\/p><p>There are two kinds of doubt: the kind that draws you away from God and the kind that draws you closer.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The first uses uncertainty as an excuse to stop seeking.<\/p><p>The second turns uncertainty into an honest question directed toward heaven.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Honest doubt, brought to God in prayer and to the Word with hunger, almost always produces a deeper faith than the one that existed before.<\/p><p>If today you have doubts, do not bury them\u2014bring them to God. Faith that has never been questioned is fragile. Faith that has passed through the fire of questioning and has survived is unbreakable. Jesus did not reject the doubtful father\u2014He healed his son. And He can do the same with your soul today.<\/p><p>\u00abHonest doubt brought to God is not the end of faith\u2014it is the beginning of a deeper and more real faith.\u00bb<\/p><p>Let us pray:<\/p><p>God, today I bring You my doubts\u2014not as excuses, but as a prayer: \u201cI believe; help my unbelief.\u201d I do not pretend to have all the answers, but I choose to seek You, who are the Answer. Strengthen my faith where it is weak and anchor me in Your truth. In Jesus\u2019 name.
