\nG\u00e9nesis 23-24 | Mateo 7<\/p>\n
\u00abHijo m\u00edo, escucha las correcciones de tu padre y no abandones las ense\u00f1anzas de tu madre.\u00bb \u2013 Proverbios 1:8 Tal vez hayamos hecho lo mejor para proveer todo a nuestros hijos, pero \u00bfy qu\u00e9 acerca de lo espiritual? \u00bfQu\u00e9 papel le hemos permitido a Dios jugar en la crianza de nuestros hijos? \u00bfSaben nuestros hijos que amamos a Dios? \u00bfSaben que confiamos en \u00c9l, que dependemos de \u00c9l, y que le agradecemos todos los d\u00edas por Sus bendiciones y Su presencia? Esto no requiere una sesi\u00f3n de estudio b\u00edblico, especialmente a una edad temprana. Lo que se necesita es que nuestros hijos vean la relaci\u00f3n que existe entre nosotros y Dios.<\/p>\n Es mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil aprender que ense\u00f1ar, y el ejemplo es el que produce impacto sobre nuestros hijos. \u00bfHan visto nuestros hijos la Biblia como un libro habitual en el entorno de nuestra casa, y mejor a\u00fan, nos han visto leer la Biblia todos los d\u00edas? \u00bfHemos orado con nuestros hijos todos los d\u00edas? \u00bfVienen nuestros hijos a la iglesia con nosotros y asisten a la escuela dominical? \u00bfLos estamos alentando a hacerse preguntas acerca de Dios, y a medida que crecen, les explicamos un poco m\u00e1s sobre el papel de Jes\u00fas en sus vidas? Lo que nuestros hijos ven y experimentan en el hogar por lo general determinar\u00e1 la clase de personas en que se convertir\u00e1n. Es por esto que debemos guiar y encauzar a nuestros hijos en el camino de Dios; con amor, bondad y honestidad, ensen\u00e1ndoles un esp\u00edritu abnegado y de sacrificio en amor por los dem\u00e1s, que implica un coraz\u00f3n lleno de generosidad y servicio.<\/p>\n Es de vital importancia que entendamos que no es la mam\u00e1 o el pap\u00e1 quien hace que los hijos se conviertan cristianos. Es solamente Dios qui\u00e9n los atraer\u00e1 por su Esp\u00edritu a una relaci\u00f3n con \u00c9l. Lo que como padres podemos hacer es plantar la semilla a diario, y esperar confiadamente que en ellos se desarrolle un coraz\u00f3n para Dios mientras son j\u00f3venes. De no ocurrir as\u00ed, podemos estar seguros que la semilla estar\u00e1 all\u00ed por siempre, y cuando todo lo dem\u00e1s falle, como a menudo ocurre, la semilla brotar\u00e1 y traer\u00e1 vida, y nuestros hijos sabr\u00e1n que tienen un Dios a quien recurrir. Cristo los acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1 por siempre, \u00c9l es el camino y todo lo mejor que podremos darles.<\/p>\n ORACI\u00d3N: Amado Se\u00f1or, mi mayor deseo es que mis hijos sean llevados a una relaci\u00f3n contigo, y te pido que me gu\u00edes y me ayudes a plantar diariamente Tu semilla en la vida de ellos.<\/p>\n PARA REFLEXIONAR: \u00bfQu\u00e9 papel le estoy permitiendo a Dios jugar en la crianza de mis hijos? \u00bfEstoy plantando diariamente la semilla de Cristo en los corazones de ellos?<\/p>\n RAISING OUR CHILDREN Sometimes we fail to express in words how much we love our children, knowing that our responsibility is to ensure their welfare. We provide to meet their physical needs; affection, housing, food, clothing, etc., and also do it to meet their emotional, psychological and structural needs. We establish routines, discipline them, educate them, instruct them and we guide. Our greatest desire is for our children to be happy, so we buy toys, we walk, we enrolled in the activities, we do meetings with family and friends, and in the process, create wonderful memories for them. Also we establish limits for our children, and as they grow, we extend those limits until one day are free to go and live on their own and make your own life.<\/p>\n Perhaps we have done our best to provide all our children, but so what about the spiritual? What role does God have allowed him to play in raising our children? Do our children know that we love God? You know that we trust him, we depend on Him, and we appreciate every day for His blessings and His presence? This does not require a Bible study session, especially at a young age. What is needed is that our children see the relationship between us and God. It is vital to understand that is not the mom or dad who makes children become Christians. It is only God who by his Spirit draw them into a relationship with Him. What we as parents can do is plant the seed daily, and confidently expect them a heart for God is developed while they are young. Not happen so we can be sure that the seed will be there forever, and when all else fails, as often happens, the seed will sprout and bring life and our children know that they have a God to turn to. Christ will accompany them forever, He is the way and all the best we can give them.<\/p>\n PRAYER: Dear Lord, my greatest desire is that my children are brought into a relationship with you, and ask you to guide me and help me to plant your seed in the daily life of them. \nA veces no alcanzamos a expresar con palabras lo mucho que amamos a nuestros hijos, sabiendo que nuestra responsabilidad es asegurar el bienestar de ellos. Proveemos para suplir sus necesidades f\u00edsicas; afecto, vivienda, comida, ropa, etc., y tambi\u00e9n lo hacemos para suplir sus necesidades emocionales, psicol\u00f3gicas y estructurales. Establecemos rutinas, los disciplinamos, los educamos, los instruimos y los guiamos. Nuestro mayor deseo es que nuestros hijos sean felices, as\u00ed que les compramos juguetes, los llevamos de paseo, los inscribimos en actividades, hacemos reuniones con la familia y amigos, y en el proceso, creamos recuerdos maravillosos para ellos. Igualmente establecemos l\u00edmites a nuestros hijos, y a medida que ellos crecen, vamos extendiendo esos l\u00edmites hasta que un d\u00eda son libres de irse a vivir por su cuenta, y hacer su propia vida.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u00abMy son, listen to your father’s and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.\u00bb – Proverbs 1: 8<\/p>\n
\nIt is much easier to learn to teach, and example is what produces impact on our children. Have you seen our children the Bible as a regular book in our home environment, and better yet, we have been reading the Bible every day? Have we prayed with our children every day? Do they come our children to church with us and attend Sunday school? Are we encouraged to ask questions about God, and as they grow, we explain a bit more about the role of Jesus in their lives? What our children see and experience at home usually will determine the kind of people they will become. That is why we must guide and channel our children in the way of God; with love, kindness and honesty, teaching and selfless spirit of sacrifice in love for others, which involves a heart full of generosity and service.<\/p>\n
\nFor reflection: What role am allowing God to play in bringing up my children? Am I daily planting the seed of Christ in their hearts?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
