\n1 Reyes 14-15 | Lucas 22:31-46
\n\u201c\u2014Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida \u2014le contest\u00f3 Jes\u00fas\u2014. Nadie llega al Padre sino por m\u00ed.\u201d Juan 14:6<\/p>\n
En los primeros tres versos del libro de G\u00e9nesis podemos descubrir varios aspectos muy importantes acerca de Dios. La declaraci\u00f3n \u201cen el principio Dios cre\u00f3 los cielos y la tierra\u201d, nos habla de la pre-existencia de Dios. Dios no est\u00e1 dentro de la creaci\u00f3n, porque Dios est\u00e1 por fuera de Su creaci\u00f3n, y obviamente por fuera del espacio y del tiempo. En el principio, cuando todo comenz\u00f3, Dios pre-exist\u00eda, \u00c9l ya estaba all\u00ed y fue \u00c9l quien dio origen a todo. Lo segundo que aprendemos es que Dios es personal. Dios dijo y por su palabra todo fue hecho; Dios vio que era bueno lo creado y Dios dio nombre a lo creado. El hecho de decir, ver y dar nombre a lo creado, son actividades personales. Una tercera cosa que descubrimos es que Dios es poderoso. Dios dijo \u201csea la luz, y fue la luz\u201d (G\u00e9nesis 1:3).<\/p>\n
Muchas religiones del mundo de hoy en d\u00eda creen que Dios es pre-existente y personal, un Dios con quien podemos tener comuni\u00f3n. Aunque hay religiones que creen en muchos dioses, y otras creen en un s\u00f3lo Dios y creador, todos estamos en el mismo sendero buscando conectarnos con algo fuera de nosotros mismos que le d\u00e9 sentido y prop\u00f3sito a esta existencia terrenal. Si imagin\u00e1ramos una vista a\u00e9rea de una monta\u00f1a, con numerosos senderos en todos sus costados, los cuales conducen a la cumbre y cada uno de esos senderos representa una religi\u00f3n, podemos estar seguros que habr\u00e1 personas que mantengan una posici\u00f3n filos\u00f3fica que dice que no importa en cual sendero te encuentres, ya que cualquier sendero te llevar\u00e1 al mismo lugar. Ellos afirman que lo importante es que seamos personas buenas y honestas, y de esta manera eventualmente nos conectaremos con Dios.<\/p>\n
Si lo anterior fuera cierto, no habr\u00eda necesidad de la cruz de Cristo. No habr\u00eda necesidad que el Esp\u00edritu de Cristo viviera en nosotros, ni habr\u00eda necesidad de la obra santificadora de Dios en nuestras vidas. Todo lo que tendr\u00edamos seria a un ser supremo vi\u00e9ndonos escalar lentamente nuestro sendero hacia \u00c9l, y vi\u00e9ndonos caer una y otra vez. Como Creador pre-existente y Todopoderoso, debemos tomar a Dios en su Palabra. Juan 3:16 dice: \u201cPorque tanto am\u00f3 Dios al mundo, que dio a su Hijo unig\u00e9nito, para que todo el que cree en \u00e9l no se pierda, sino que tenga vida eterna.\u201d Pedro nos dice: \u201c\u2026en ning\u00fan otro hay salvaci\u00f3n, porque no hay bajo el cielo otro nombre dado a los hombres mediante el cual podamos ser salvos.\u201d (Hechos 4:12).<\/p>\n
La realidad es que s\u00ed importa en qu\u00e9 camino nos encontremos, porque solo hay un Camino Verdadero. \u201cYo soy el camino, y la verdad y la vida\u201d, dijo Jes\u00fas. \u201cNadie viene al padre, sino por m\u00ed\u201d. No podemos separar a Dios Padre, de Dios Hijo y de Dios Esp\u00edritu Santo porque ellos son uno solo Dios verdadero. La necesidad m\u00e1s profunda del coraz\u00f3n humano es conectarse con Dios, y el \u00danico Camino que hace esto posible es el camino que lleva a la Verdadera Vida, y Su nombre es Jesucristo.<\/p>\n
ORACI\u00d3N: Amado Padre Celestial, gracias por darnos el don precioso de tu Hijo Jesucristo, el \u00fanico medio por el cual somos reconciliados contigo para siempre. Am\u00e9n.

THE WAY TO GOD

\n\u00ab- I am the way, the truth and the life – answered you-. No one comes to the father but through me.\u00bb John 14:6<\/p>\n
In the first three verses of the book of Genesis we can discover several very important aspects about God. The statement \u00abin the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth,\u00bb talks about the pre-existence of God. God is not within the creation, because God is outside of his creation, and obviously out of space and time. In the beginning, when it all began, Dios pre-exist\u00eda, he was already there and was the one who gave rise to all. The second thing we learn is that God is personal. God said and by his word all was made; God saw that created was good and God has given name to the created. The fact, see and give name to the created, are personal activities. A third thing we discovered is that God is powerful. God said \u00abbe light, and there was light\u00bb (Genesis 1:3).<\/p>\n
Many religions in the world today believe that God is personal, and pre-existing a God with whom we have communion. Although there are religions that believe in many gods, and others believe in a just God and creator, we are all on the same path, seeking to connect with something outside of ourselves that give meaning and purpose to this earthly existence. If we think of an aerial view of a mountain, with numerous trails in all its sides, which lead to the Summit and each of these paths represents a religion, we can be sure that there will be people who maintain a philosophical position which says that no matter which path you are, since any path will take you to the same place. They claim that what is important is that we are good, honest people, and in this way we will eventually connect with God.<\/p>\n
If the above were true, there would be no need for the cross of Christ. There would be no need for the spirit of Christ live in us, nor would have need of God’s sanctifying work in our lives. Everything that we would have would be to be a Supreme watching us slowly climb our path to it, and watching us fall over and over again. As pre-existing creator and Almighty, we take God at his word. John 3:16 says: \u00abFor God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him not perish but might have eternal life.\u00bb Peter tells us: \u00ab.. .in any other there is salvation, because there is no other name given to men by which we must be saved under the sky.\u00bb (Acts 4:12).<\/p>\n
The reality is that it matters which way we are, because there is only one true path. \u00abI am the way, and the truth and the life,\u00bb said Jesus. \u00abNo one comes to the father, but by me.\u00bb We can not separate Dios the Padre, Dios Hijo and Holy Spirit God because they are the one true God. The deepest need of the human heart is to connect with God, and the only way that makes this possible is the way that leads to true life, and his name is Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n
Prayer: Beloved heavenly father, thank you for giving us the precious gift of your son, Jesus Christ, the only means by which we are reconciled to you forever. Amen.
