\n\u201c\u00a1Anda, perezoso, f\u00edjate en la hormiga! \u00a1F\u00edjate en lo que hace, y adquiere sabidur\u00eda! No tiene quien la mande, ni quien la vigile ni gobierne; con todo, en el verano almacena provisiones y durante la cosecha recoge alimentos.\u201d Proverbios 6:6-8<\/p>\n
Todos hemos tenido d\u00edas en los que nos sentimos como un perezoso, pero \u00bfte imaginarias que todos nuestros d\u00edas fueran as\u00ed? \u00bfC\u00f3mo podr\u00edamos escapar de eso? \u00bfQu\u00e9 dice la Biblia?<\/p>\n
El libro de Proverbios nos ense\u00f1a dos maneras en las que el perezoso puede encontrar correcci\u00f3n. En primer lugar, \u00e9l debe aprender por medio del ejemplo, y el maravilloso ejemplo que nos es dado, es el de una hormiga. La hormiga es un insecto fascinante; una de las criaturas m\u00e1s sociables que existen, pero tambi\u00e9n una de las m\u00e1s complejas.<\/p>\n
La primera cosa que un perezoso debe aprender de la hormiga, es la responsabilidad. A diferencia del perezoso, una hormiga almacena su provisi\u00f3n en el verano y recoge su comida en la cosecha. La comida para el invierno est\u00e1 disponible para la hormiga, ya que ha trabajado m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo que era necesario durante el verano. La hormiga no est\u00e1 guiada por la necesidad inmediata, sino por necesidad futura. Junto con la responsabilidad, aprendemos de la hormiga, la confiabilidad. Las hormigas no tienen ning\u00fan comandante, ni nadie quien las vigile, ni las gobierne. Sin embargo, las hormigas saben cu\u00e1l es su papel y lo cumplen, y respecto a esto debemos aprender. Existe la hormiga reina, la hormiga soldado, la hormiga macho y las hormigas obreras que son las hembras, y hay respeto mutuo entre ellas en medio del cual trabajan juntas en armon\u00eda.<\/p>\n
La segunda forma en que el perezoso aprende de la hormiga es por la experiencia. Salom\u00f3n escribe: \u201cPas\u00e9 por el campo del perezoso, por la vi\u00f1a del falto de juicio. Hab\u00eda espinas por todas partes; la hierba cubr\u00eda el terreno, y el lindero de piedras estaba en ruinas. Guard\u00e9 en mi coraz\u00f3n lo observado, y de lo visto saqu\u00e9 una lecci\u00f3n\u201d. Debemos mirar m\u00e1s all\u00e1, hacia las consecuencias de la pereza. Para el perezoso no hay cosecha diferente a las malezas. Si tomamos la opci\u00f3n f\u00e1cil, la pobreza vendr\u00e1 sobre nuestro futuro como un bandido. Proverbios 12:24 dice: \u201cEl de manos diligentes gobernar\u00e1; pero el perezoso ser\u00e1 subyugado.\u201d<\/p>\n
La triste historia que es narrada, es que el perezoso siempre llega tarde a tomar el barco. Podemos sentirnos satisfechos con nosotros mismos cuando vemos al perezoso, pero de repente nos damos cuenta que es exactamente lo que somos en nuestras almas. Si bien es cierto que en el reino f\u00edsico determinamos nuestro futuro por lo que hacemos en el presente, es m\u00e1s apremiantemente cierto saber que lo que determinemos ahora es lo que va a marcar el futuro de nuestras almas. Podemos tener toda la disciplina del mundo, pero nuestra alma sobrevivir\u00e1 a nuestro cuerpo, lo que hace esencial que vivamos todos los d\u00edas con la voluntad de Jes\u00fas en nuestro coraz\u00f3n y con la eternidad en mente.

THE ANT AND THE LAZY

\n\u00abCome on, lazy, look at the ant!Look at what you do, and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest \u00abProverbs 6: 6-8.<\/p>\n
We’ve all had days when we felt lazy, but I imagined that all our days were like that? How can we escape it? What does the Bible say?<\/p>\n
The book of Proverbs teaches us two ways you can find the lazy correction. First, he must learn by example, and the wonderful example that is given is that of an ant. The ant is a fascinating insect; one of the most sociable creatures that exist, but also one of the most complex.<\/p>\n
The first thing you should learn a lazy ant, is accountability. Unlike the lazy ant stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. The food for winter is available to the ant, having worked beyond what was necessary in the summer. The ant is not guided by the immediate need, but for future need. Along with responsibility, learn from ant reliability. Ants have no commander, no one who’s watch or the rule. However, ants know their role and fulfill it, and for this we must learn. There the queen ant, soldier ant, male ants and worker ants are females and there is mutual respect between them, among whom work together in harmony.<\/p>\n
The second way the lazy ant is learned by experience. Solomon writes: \u00abI went by the field of a sluggard, by the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment. There were bones everywhere; grass covered the ground, and the stone wall was in ruins. I kept in my heart what was observed, and apparently learned a lesson. \u00abWe must look beyond, to the consequences of laziness. For the lazy no different than picking weeds. If we take the easy option, poverty will come upon our future as a bandit. Proverbs 12:24 says, \u00abDiligent hands will rule; but the lazy will be subdued. \u00bb<\/p>\n
The sad story is told, is that the lazy always late to take the boat. We can be pleased with ourselves when we look lazy, but suddenly we realize that is exactly what we are in our souls. While in the physical realm that determine our future by what we do in the present, is more urgently certain knowledge that we determine now is what will shape the future of our souls. We can have all the discipline in the world but our soul survive the body, making it essential to live every day with the will of Jesus in our hearts and with eternity in mind.
